10 million iPhones to ship in Q3

This is what was found out by the Tawiwanes industry publication, the Commerical Times.

Over 70 countries are expected to have the iPhone by the end of the year. Sales of the iPhone will considerably increase Apple’s profits. CEO Steve Jobs has promised sales of over 10 millions handsets by the end of 2008. The increase in demand will come when the 3G Apple iPhone is released on 11th July.

The 3g iPhone is set to sell for £100 but will be accompanied with stupidly high priced contracts.
