Are your cows running wild? Do you need that extra tool to keep them disciplined? Introducing a new product from Apple, it’s the iProd.
The iProd is a revolutionary rule enforcer.

OK, maybe not. But the iProd (could stand for iProduct?) may just be around the corner. Its software has been located with the release of the iPhone 3 patch. The iProd is likely to be a touch screen tablet type device. One can only wish!

Apple does it again. It has released a brand new iPod Shuffle. We thought the iPod Shuffle couldn’t get any smaller. How small can the smallest MP3 player get? Well only time will tell but it’s still shrinking!
So how exactly does the iPod Shuffle work if it’s buttonless? Well a clever feature Apple have introduced is the “Voice-Over” feature where the iPod literally speaks to you! Crazy I know!
With 4GB of space the iPod Shuffle will hold up to 1000 songs. This is plenty for most users and if there were more you’d have a hard time finding the songs you want to listen to.
There is one control on the Shuffle. You can put it into 3 positons, “off”, “shuffle” and “stop”. Apple want you to buy the headphones with the controls on which will allow you a few more functions such as skip song and voice-over.
The only colours available at the moment are black and silver. The battery life is slightly better, lasting around 10 hours. The price is $70. Enjoy!

The iPhone has finally got copy and paste. We’ve been waiting a hell of a long time but Apple have finally given into demands and have announced that iPhone OS 3.0 will support copy and paste. Double tapping will select the text and then moveable grab points will allow you to select what text you want to copy. At last Apple have released a patch which will allow copy and pasting in every major application! This includes SMS and Safari. It’s a great application but it’s a bit of a shame that it’s taken this long for Apple to release!
Fenner Investments filed a suit a while back against all the major games console manufacturers. These suits were aimed at each of the console’s supposed infringement of the patent for a low voltage joystick port interface. This is complete rubbish. the Nintendo case was thrown out of court by Judge Leonard Davis of the U.S. District Court in Texas on Monday. Nintendo were pleased with this outcome obviously and
are now free from lawsuits regarding their controllers.
Amazon has now released the Kindle software to be downloaded free from the Apple Apps store for the iPod Touch or the iPhone. The move is to try and extend the reach of the Kindle software and increase it’s useage. If you are already using the iPhone application then don’t worry. Downloading and using this new software will not cause you to lose your place. There is an electronic bookmark which will make sure you can pick up from where you left off.
The Kindle reader was launched in 2007 in an aim to digitalize reading books. The reader can hold up to 1,500 books which is a LOT! The price matches the ingenuity sadly so this news will mean that people are able access 245,000 big store from their iPod Touch or iPhone.
As with all things internet, Google is trying to compete. They have released their own book search but it doesn’t feature the latest releases like the Amazon store does.
On Sunday 23rd February 2008 Arsenal played Birmingham. The game has since been overshadowed by Eduardo’s injury. The 24 year-old was horrifically injured by the Birmingham player, Martin Taylor.
The quick feet of Eduardo caused Martin Taylor to mistime his tackle. Showing studs up Taylor slid into Eduardo’s leg. This caused him to break his leg. He was moved straight to hospital from the game. He is expected to be out for at least a season, though his ankle may never be able to support his weight well enough so his career could well be over.
Taylor was red carded for injuring Eduardo.
The television channel broadcasting the game did not show the replay of the incident due to the nature of the injury. I have searched the net and found videos and pictures of the injury. Here they are. Not for the faint hearted.
This is just to show you what actually happened if you did not see it.
Arsene Wenger has said that Taylor should be banned for life. I am interested to know what peoples’ opinions on this would be. Do you think that Taylor should have to retire from football because he may have ended the career of another.
Should the FA look at the punishment without taking into consideration the actual injury?
Should Wenger shut up and stop saying such biased things and stop being such a god damn hypocrite?
Another punishment is that he should not be allowed to play football until Eduardo recovers and plays himself. Why should Arsenal be punished more than Birmingham?
